As the practice principal, Roger is the problem solver and second opinion for all the difficult cases. His practice philosophy has been to encourage and facilitate the development of all his staff to advance their skills to the full potential, and loves to teach and encourage. His own particular interests include mastitis and abdominal surgery for cattle, artificial insemination and embryo transfer for horses, and small animal orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery (the more complicated the better!). Ophthalmology completes an interesting and varied day.
In his spare time Roger enjoys horse riding (eventing & showjumping), fishing, bush walking, and spending time with his family.
Roger owns many pets including various horses, cats and dogs. Roger’s pets Holly the Golden Retriever dog and Jaffa the cat are the clinic's designated blood donors.

Dr Belinda joined the team in late 2012, having graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (hons).
While thoroughly enjoying the challenges and thrills of mixed animal practice, Belinda particularly enjoys cattle medicine and surgery, is our lead veterinarian with bull breeding soundness exams and manages the Bovine Johne’s disease programme for the practice. Small animal internal medicine, guinea pig & pocket pets add to the variety of an enjoyable day. Equine medicine, dentistry and reproduction complete the picture.
