As the practice principal, Roger is the problem solver and second opinion for all the difficult cases. His practice philosophy has been to encourage and facilitate the development of all his staff to advance their skills to the full potential, and loves to teach and encourage. His own particular interests include mastitis and abdominal surgery for cattle, artificial insemination and embryo transfer for horses, and small animal orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery (the more complicated the better!). Special Veterinary Interests
While her first love is cattle, Emma joined our team because of the variety of cases. Small animal surgery gives a welcome relief from sunburn and frostbite! Horses too complement the case load. Cattle provide the bulk of her special interests, with specific interests in herd health management, including metabolic monitoring and preventative maintenance, dairy calf management, and bull breeding soundness evaluations. Dairy cow mastitis prevention and treatment occupies a significant amount of her time.
In her spare time Emma enjoys hiking, cooking, kayaking and gardening.
Emma is the proud owner of a cat called Charlie and a border collie cross named Zeeke.
